Hong Kong, 10 November 2025 – Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) brought its year-long 160th anniversary celebrations for The Langham Hotels and Resorts to a close last week with a glittering gala at The Langham, Hong Kong. The event featured performances by Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell and renowned Chinese musical theatre actor and producer Ayanga, both of whom have been named Langham Luminaries under the brand's Your Story Our Legacy marketing campaign. Guests also enjoyed performances starring young musicians from the Great Eagle Music Children Ensemble, underscoring The Langham's commitment to nurturing future generations of artists.

“For 160 years, The Langham has been a stage where artistry, culture, and society come together,” LHG Chief Executive Officer Bob van den Oord said. “From the literary greats who once walked the halls of The Langham, London, to the luminaries who inspire us today, the brand has always been defined by those who make their mark on it. Our anniversary gala clearly reflected that legacy and set the tone for the next chapter in The Langham's story.”

The event welcomed a wide range of attendees – from hotel owners and business leaders to artists, cultural figures, and long-standing partners of LHG. Together, they formed a distinguished gathering that reflected the breadth of influence The Langham has attracted throughout its history. More than a celebration of a milestone, the evening reaffirmed the brand's standing as a symbol of connection – a place where society, culture, and creativity have long met and continue to flourish.

Much of that flourish will be shaped by The Langham's expanding portfolio, with landmark development projects involving both heritage and new-build properties. Upcoming openings of note include The Langham, Custom House, Bangkok (2026), The Langham Venice (2027), The Langham, Kuala Lumpur, and The Langham, Diriyah (2029).

Alongside these additions, LHG is also taking steps to enhance The Langham's existing portfolio, with a sweeping renovation now underway at The Langham, Pasadena, and equally expansive refurbishments planned for the brand's Shanghai and Melbourne hotels.
