Continuing its growth into 2025, Minor Hotels, one of the world's fastest-expanding hotel groups, has announced the addition of three Victorian properties to its Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites portfolio, with Oaks Vue Suites Geelong and Oaks R Suites Geelong opening under the brand on 3 March, joining Oaks Melbourne Flemington Suites which became part of the hotel group earlier this month.

The addition of these properties strengthens Minor Hotels' Australasian presence, ahead of the upcoming launch of Queen's Wharf Residences Brisbane set to open later this year, the 2026 brand debuts of NH Collection and NH Hotels on Wentworth Street and Mascot, Sydney respectively, and the region's first full-service Avani Hotel in Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Oaks R Suites Geelong 

The history of Oaks R Suites Geelong dates to the 1850s, when it was one of Geelong's most iconic and grand buildings. Re-developed in 2017, it now stands as contemporary apartment hotel that seamlessly blends modern design with its rich heritage.
